Highfield Hall Community Club (HCC) is a non profit organisation formed to provide a place where people of all ages, cultures and abilities are encouraged to use the community facilities offered by the club to promote community cohesion and well being.

HCC plans to offer dynamic, unique and constantly evolving programs and services that will benefit the local community as well as encouraging social enterprises. HCC offers a facility that provide social, educational, recreational and well being activities in a safe and secure community environment. We promote community cohesion
through dialogue and discussions at the centre where all groups from diverse backgrounds are welcome.

Highfield Hall is vibrant and welcoming community centre in the heart of Hall Green Birmingham.The Community Centre was built in 1929 and has a great history. Formerly run by Birmingham City Council as Adult Learning Centre, it is now run by an independent non-profit organization “Highfield Hall Community Club” which promotes community cohesion and well-being and plans to offer dynamic, unique and constantly evolving programs and services that will benefit the local community as well as encouraging social enterprises.

HHCC board includes members who are highly experienced, committed and already running projects in the community centre and also have a backgrounds in community, youth work, education and training. We are also working with local residents who want to preserve the existing set-up, projects, the history and the rich heritage of this centre.

The Centre is set back from the main Highfield Road and nestles between residential properties making it very accessible to local residents. It has its own private entrance and car park, a vast green area and conservation site. The outdoor area is fabulous for family fun days/ sports events/ well-being activities. It is also ideal for marquee wedding, events and parties. Indoor we have meeting spaces, conference facilities available for hire. With a great range of IT and presentation equipment, catering and helpful staff on site, Highfield Hall is a great venue for meetings, events and parties.

The main hall has a large capacity and can accommodate up to 150 persons for a dinner/ dance set up and over 200 for a disco event, we also have a number of rooms available for hire for meetings, training and smaller events.

Highfield Hall has something for everyone. Our wide range of facilities offers a huge number of classes and activities, from sports and exercise to workshops, music and Youth groups.

There are classes for most ages and abilities, without the need for membership fees or annual sign up. Many classes offer free trial sessions so it’s an ideal way to find what you like.

This facility is well suited to persons requiring wheel chair access. There are disabled access points to the building and all facilities are on ground level. There are also disabled toilets available.

Our aim will be to provide a service that will exceed the expectation of our customers.

The purpose of the HHCC is to promote the highest possible quality of life for those living in the area and whenever possible in consultation, collaboration and co-operation with neighbouring areas and other relevant bodies.

This will involve bringing together residents and others in the HHCC area on a regular basis in order to address community issues of common concern, such as;

• Employment and economy

• Education and training

• Housing

• Health

• The environment

• The youth in the area

• The representation of women

• The elderly and disabled people

• Community safety

• Services and facilities
